Ex-medical School Dormitory
A hostel for medical students located on Jl. Prapatan 10, Jakarta. In this hostel, resident students actively engaged in the underground along with other underground groups. This School of Medicine Boarding Group was also known as the Prapatan 10 Group.
Most group members of Prapatan 10 were fluent in Dutch. They came from elite circles and were inclined to the Western world. They were very close to Sutan Sjahrir who was strongly influenced by the thinkings of Sjahrir. This dormitory housed prominent young leaders such as Johan Nur, Sayogo, Sharif Thayib, Darwis, Eri Sudewo, Chairul Saleh, Kusnandar, Subadio Sastrosatomo Wahidin Nasution, and Tadjuddin. This underground group produced figures who would later play a big role in precipitating the proclamation process of Indonesia's independence in August 17, 1945.
