Cibubur

Identical to a campsite. Almost every year scouts selected from all over Indonesia gathered and held events in this area. Therefore, this region is better known as Cibubur Scout Campgrounds. Occupying a land area of 210 hectares, this area which is included in the Sub District of Ciracas, East Jakarta, having borders with Mekarsari Village is intended not only for Boy Scouts, but also for the public to have recreation and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

There is a  wonderful view of Situ Baru Lake and rare plants such as the nam-nam plants and matoa of Irian Jaya in Arboretrum. In addition, people can also play hang gliding in the land that had been prepared. The existence of swamp forests (Rawa Dongkel) and its protected forest have added more beauty and green areas of Cibubur. For people living in  Cibubur, this Swamp has become their pride, because Rawa Dongkel and its forests have become urban forest and have represented  Jakarta Capital City in a national level greening and nature conservation competition.
